Escape From Paradise is a fantastic game!

Cheers to Sandbox Games for keeping the game playable by any Windows System computer without added graphics cards and/or sound cards!

I do not do reviews as a general practice, due mainly to my inability to express myself, and my slower typing skills. But, I feel I must tell everyone about this great game!

The concepts of this game are very similar to "Virtual Villagers - A New Home", and "Virtual Villagers II - The Lost Children". But this one has them beat, hands down.

You will notice during the first few minutes of game play that "Escape From Paradise" is not like the Vitual Villagers games at all. It’s better, easier, faster, and more fun to play!

The developers have created an entirely new game concept, "borrowing" some basic ideas for a series of incorporated, or seperate, mini-games. Some good, some easy, some hard, some impossible, and some you will want to play over and over.

They have also programmed an "auto-pause" feature into the game that pauses the main quest while you play the mini-games or do anything in seperate screens. Fantastic!

The plot itself is basically simple. A cruise ship has crashed into a tropical island, leaving only a few (30) survivors. You are to become the leader of a "tribe" and lead these survivors to finding a way off the island and back home.

Part of your challenge is to play games to get valuable items your tribe can use, and to gain experience points to upgrade your villagers skill levels. Another, more difficult, part of your challenge is to solve certain puzzles.

Going into details will spoil the game for you, so I wont.
Suffice to say it will keep you wondering what’s coming next!
