Excellent matching/building game
I was pleasantly surprised by this game. I almost didn’t download it because it looked like another typical match-3, but that screenshot of the island made me wonder.
It turns out that it’s actually quite unique.
First, it’s not a normal match-3 mechanic.
You actually pick up and drop pieces anywhere on the board, instead of the normal mechanic where you select 2 adjacent pieces and they swap.
You earn gold and reputation on each level that you use to buy buildings for your island, which is how you get powerups and bonuses.
As you earn reputation and level up, more citizens come to your island and you have to keep them employed. It’s sort of like Cradle of
Rome but much more interesting and in depth.
I highly recommend it, even to those that are sick of match-3 games.
