Default Folder X 4.0.4

Quote:Default Folder X attaches a toolbar to the right side of the Open and Save dialogs in any OS X-native application (both Carbon and Cocoa). The toolbar gives you fast access to various folders and commands. You just click on the buttons to go to your favorite and recently used folders, manage the folders and files shown in the list, and make changes to your settings.

Default Folder also fixes a number of problems in Open and Save dialogs, "rebounding" back to the last selected file, putting the path listing back in the top menu, and correcting bugs in scrolling column views.

WHAT’S NEW
Version 4.0.4:
Fixed a bug that could cause crashes in FileBuddy and other Carbon applications when "Make Save dialogs automatically default to the current document’s folder" was turned on.
Fixed a bug that could cause incorrect application behavior when a Save As dialog was cancelled with the filename edit box empty.
Got rid of Leopard’s "You’ve downloaded this application from the Internet" warning by clearing the quarantine attributes when Default Folder X is installed.
Corrected a problem that could cause Default Folder X to crash or enter text incorrectly when accented characters were typed in the Spotlight comment box.
Added a setting to make the "Make Save dialogs automatically default to the current document’s folder" feature also work for Print to PDF and Export dialogs. Option-click on the Settings button, and turn on the "ExportAndPrintToDocumentFolder" checkbox.
The Finder label and "remember for next time" controls in the Spotlight dialog no longer overlap when a Save As dialog is very small.
The "Change folder set" menu now displays your folder sets as it should.
