Tested with Razor1911 repacked version, works like a charm. As a matter of fact, works noticeably better on XP than on Vista.

Read the included README.TXT carefully! You must also install the game using the included loader.exe!

If you don’t know what a command line is, or how to run a program with some command-line parameters, then simply drag’n'drop startup.exe from DVD onto loader.exe’s icon in some folder. Launch the game in same way, by drag’n'dropping halo2.exe onto loader.exe.
If you still don’t know how to install/start the game, then sell your machine and forget about computers, since the obviously aren’t for you.
