First Download and install Winrar If you don’t have it already

(just double click the exe when it’s done downloading, and it’ll start the installer)
Now you’re ready to Rar your file.

1. Get what you want to upload on your desktop and put it in a folder.

2. Right click on your folder and open it with Winrar.
(note: yours will probably look different then mine)

OR you also have the option of opening Winrar and browsing to your desired folder and selecting the "Add" icon.

3. Now when your folder is opened in Winrar, FIRST give it a name (I like to abbreviate the name) SECOND make sure "RAR" is selected and THIRD if your file is over 100 megabytes but the "split to volume by bytes" to 100M or 100 mb. then click "OK".

4. It will create your RAR file and will leave it on your desktop.
(note: the file icon will vary with what icon set you have installed)

5. Open your browser (I recommend Firefox) and go to http://www.rapidshare.com/ and click "Browse" then look up your Rar file, select it, then click "Open" and then "Upload"

It will start the upload, which can take some time if you have a big file, but leave the page open and please wait.

6. When you file is uploaded you have the option to create a collector’s account, and if you don’t have one, I would recommend you create one, as it’s free and you can collect points for downloads of your files and when you get 10,000 points, you get a free 30 day rapidshare premium account. To get the account just fill out the information and click "Create Collector’s Account"

OR if you don’t want a account, just click "I don’t want a collector’s account right now, just give me the download-link"

7. Then you will get your download link, make sure you copy and past it into a safe place if you don’t have a collector’s account. The kill code will instantly kill your file, so don’t click it.

8.Your upload should look something like this:

1. Go to "Free Zone" and then "Collector’s Zone Login"

2. Enter your username and password, then login.

3. You will now be taken to your account, where you have all your files, download links, and kill codes and other information.
