Hey, I made the mistake of updating my ipod touch to 1.1.2 and realized that jailbreakme.com only works for 1.1.1. Sigh, I scoured the internet for a LONG time until I found this.

I thought some other people might need it so here it is, the firmware for ipod touch 1.1.1:

Just connect it to itunes, hold SHIFT and click restore. Then select the restore file.

Remember, whether you have the iPhone or iPod Touch, if you want to jailbreak it, it MUST be DOWNGRADED TO 1.1.1! You can upgrade later to 1.1.2 using TouchFree’s method.
