Hey guy’s ,

I installed it with a guide on a other forum . Now it works perfect and it’s realy simple to install it on your N95 phone … There will be also other phones / pda’s that will work with garmin mobile GPS solutions …

N95 with Garmin GPS software ( works with build in GPS ) FREE Rapidshare Links for Download

1 :

Start with a clean phone and memory card ( if you want to load a lot of maps on your phone , it is required to have a memory card with enough space . I used a 4 Gig micro SD card , butt smaller sizes will also work )

Also check your firmare revision , it’s recommended wit V 20.0.015 firmwares ..

ALSO when you have no card reader and you have to install it by usb cable , always use the option "DATA TRANSFER / MASS STORAGE " and NOT the "nokia pc suit option" !!!!

2 :

Download these 4 rar’s from rapidshare ( yes it is from my account , i need points Laughing )

Program names are ( when downloaded & unpacked ) :

GarminMobileXTforSymbianS60_41060
GarminMobileXTFreeBasemap_4xxxx
GarminMobileXTSupportFiles_4xxxx
Garmin.Mobile.XT.Keygen.v1.1

GarminMobileXTforSymbianS60_41060 :

3 :

For europe users only ( for america , and other regions are there also torrent downloads , butt i haven’t tested if it works , sorry for this ) Embarassed

Download from a torrent search engine and your torrent client this file , it includes al maps for europe :

You can choose your own search engine by searching on " Garmin MapSource City Navigator Europe NT v9"

Or use these direct link :

http://www.torrentspy.com/torrent/1206695/Garmin_MapSource_City_Navigator_Europe_NT_v9

The file is to big ( 1.35 gig to upload @ rapidshare ) , my internetconnection is way to slow to do this … You have to download it from torrent …

Now you have all the files you need ( place them on a new folder for easy use )

4 :

After download the files , extract them to a new folder

5

After extracting all the files , start installing these 3 files on your mem.card off your phone .

Start with installing this file by connecting the phone to usb cable and double click on the files ( phone have to operate in data transfer mode and not nokia PC suite ) :

GarminMobileXTforSymbianS60_41060

Then :

GarminMobileXTFreeBasemap_4xxxx

And at last :

GarminMobileXTSupportFiles_4xxxx

You can install these files on your phone by plugging it in to your usb cable and select data transfer and NOT nokia pc suite … When it ask nothing , check your usb settings on your phone in the menu… You can also use a card reader to do this …

After installing these 3 files you have GARMIN XT mobile on your phone, but NO maps included … ( thats why you have to download the torrentfile )

Now disconnect the phone from usb …

Normaly there will be a popup on your phone " busy with installation" or something like that … After that is done go to next step.

6

Start Garmin Xt on your mobile… You can find it by navigating the menu of your phone …

After it started , go to "settings"
"About"
Then you see some serials / numbers on your screen

Write down on a paper the number on "Unlock ESN / CARD ID "

7
Now open the torrent file , it have a

MDF file
MDS file
TXT file

You can extract the images ( .MDF / .MDS ) with Ultra ISO …

When extracted you can now install City Navigator on your computer

After install it asks for registration with key :

Click on " i have a 25 caracter key "

Next copy paste the key from the txt file that is included in the torrent file to the registration box …

Click next until finisched ( you don’t have to registrate on internet for further info / support )

8

In City navigator , select the regions , maps you want to use …
When it’s good , you see all selected area’s on the left side of your screen under "maps"

After you selected the maps you have to send it on your phone…

First connect your phone to usb
Set it to " data transfer only" / "Mass storage
Then send it over from pc to phone …
If you have selected a lot of maps , it will take few moments to upload it to your phone …

9

Start the keygen that you have downloaded from rapidshare

On the first line

You entered the CARD ID number / serial ( that number you wrote down on a paper )

Then click generate

Now you will see a key

Open Notepad en cope paste that key

Save in notepad ( by saving as / alle files / AND NOT as TXT ) that key
to SW.UNL

Make sure it is SW.UNL and not SW.UNL.txt!!!

10

Now generate a key for your maps …

Select " City navigator europe NT v9 in the keygen program

Then click "generate

Now there comes a new key

Open notepad again

Copy paste the key

And save it as : GMAPSUPP.UNL ( make sure it is GMAPSUPP.UNL and NOT GMAPSUPP.UNL.txt by selecting "save as" / alle files and not as TXT file )

11

Connect the phone again to your usb as "mass storage device"

Go to explorer , click your memory card and copy paste these 2 files ( SW.UNL & GMAPSUPP.UNL ) you made in notepad to the "garmin folder" of your memory card"

Disconnect the phone from usb

Restart the phone

12

Go to GPS settings in the menu of your phone
Go to options
Settings posstions or something like that ( third option )
And select only option 2 & 3
Click finish

13

Now start Garmin on your phone
Go to settings
System
External GPS
When your SW.UNL & GMAPSUPP.UNL files are correctly made , ther will be 2 options :

Bleutooth GPS
Connected GPS ( or something like that )

Select the last option ( and NOT the bleutooth option )

Now click on the left to make it work / enable it

After this you get a screen with :

"assisted GPS"

Then press finish

When the GPS functions not work on your phone you made a mistake in the created files SW.UNL & GMAPSUPP.UNL

Normaly , your phone is now up and running with Garmin GPS software …

Hope you enjoy !!!

Say thx please !

Greetz krisse…
