This music module is a 100% clone of the old music section that came with any past version of the phpfox portal package. Main reason I wanted to work on this plug-in is because with v1.5 the music section was pulled away to make way for a new music section that will be released with the v1.5.1 build a few weeks after the stable release. The music section phpfox is brining in is very different and unlike the past where it was just admins that can upload music this will be a music section where all users can upload, rate and comment on songs. So with this plug-in my goal was to give those who want to keep the old way of how the music section works they can, plus I?ve added a little twist with a mp3 uploader that comes with a flash player. * Users can upload songs (mp3 format)

This tool will allow your members to select a theme for their profile so they won’t have to try to modify their page with CSS code or using the design editor that comes with the Konsort package

Video Mod

Video plug-in will allow your members the opportunity to upload videos to your site and have it stream for other members to view them. All users will be able to rate and comment on each video. At the moment the video player uses the conventional windows media player for videos that are not in swf format. As most servers do not support FFmpeg, which is used to convert media formats into say .flv format. That format is what we could use to display all videos in a flash player much like youtube.com does. I will work on an extra plug-in and a guide on how to install Ffmpeg on your server ‘if’ you have a dedicated or VP server. Till that plug-in we can go forward with using the default player.
