Norton Security Scan and Clean Corporate FREE Rapidshare Links for Download
This is basically just like any Corporate AntiVirus Scanner except it doesn’t require to be installed at all. Just runs off the Executable.
This product requires no serials, cracks, registration, or even installation. It runs right
from its current directory. This can be put on a cd, flash drive, or whatever media you want.
It is used by many Corporate tech offices since you can scan a computer in seconds. I beleive
this should be active until 10/1/2008. If you want to use it beyond that, Just set the system’s
clock to an earlier date. This is great for fixing pc’s and doing any type of tech work.
How to use:
Just run the Nss.exe file and the whole program will easily startup. Nothing fancy, but it works.
Updating:
You are really not supposed to be able to update this. The company wants you to have to get a new
disc from them every month, but you can easily take updates from their site and extract them.
1. Go to the Virus Definition Download Page. http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/download.html
2. Click on "Download Virus Definitions (Intelligent Updater Only)"
3. Download the "Symantec AntiVirus Scan Engine" Updates.
4. Throw the newly downloaded executable file into a folder. Create a shortcut for it.
5. Right click on the Shortcut and go to properties. Add "/EXTRACT C:/VirusDefs"
-Note: Make sure folder is already made for the virus definitions when you extract them.
6. You can obviously change "C:/VirusDefs" to where ever you want them to extract.
7. Copy the newly extracted files into the "virusdef" folder in this application.
8. It should ask you if you want to overwrite some files. Just hit Yes to all.
9. Now you are updated!
